Club Rules

Registration to this forum is free! However, this free registration only gains you limited access to the forum, and only entitles you to create 20 posts. To gain full unrestricted access to the site you will need to become a paid up club member. Please see here for details of how to become a club member and for the rules about selling anything through the forum. Please do not register just to access the classified forums - it will not work!

We also insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. You have already agreed to these rules when you ticked the 'I agree' checkbox and pressed the 'Register' button on the registration form.

Although the administrators and moderators of The mkiv Supra Owners Club will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of The mkiv Supra Owners Club, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. You also agree not to use txt speak on the forum, nor to spam or advertise anything without our prior consent including, but not limited to, advertising or linking to any automotive related companies in your signature unless that company is an official trader of the club.

You are not allowed to create an account with a user name that relates to any company or organisation without prior permission from a club official.

You agree to respond promptly to any dispute thread created against you in the disputes forum. Failure to do so may result in your account being banned.

The owners of The mkiv Supra Owners Club reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason. No refunds will be given to anyone banned from the forum for disregarding these rules.

I've made two minor changes to the club rules.

1) I have expanded the section about not spamming or advertising anything without our prior consent to explicitly include signatures as an example of what is not allowed.

2) I have added a new clause which bans the creation of accounts with a user name that relates to a company or organisation.

If you spot any signatures or account names which break these rules then please report them. The account holder will be asked to change their signature or suggest a new user name. If they don't then it will be changed for them.
