loks Posted September 19, 2004 Share Posted September 19, 2004 What are the symptons? I seem to have a little oil sprayed around by the viscous fan. So I guess the seal has gone. Nic Posted September 19, 2004 Share Posted September 19, 2004 Hi Dave When my oil seal went on my old engine I had a major oil leak around the front of the engine and a big puddle of oil under the car. Who are you getting to look at it? I guess I'll leave the car with Top Racing and get a few other thing checked out at the same time, compression test, oil pump, water pump etc. Wheel bearing also need replacing as well I think. Cam belt changed last year at TR. I'm off to Shanghai for the GP on Thursday, so that should give them plenty of time to check things out.
