I am considering (nothing definate at the moment) selling my Integale to make way for a cheaper car which I can use for track days.

Model: Lancia Delta Integrale 16V

Year:1990 – G reg

Mileage: 170,000 km (approx 100,000 miles)

Price: £4000

MOT until end March 2009 and tax until Sept 08

I’ve owned this car for 5 years now (and driven it approx 20,000 km) and feel it’s time for a change. I fancy getting something to use on track days and the Lancia is just too fragile for that, so I’d like it to go to an enthusiast for a bit of TLC for someone else to have fun with it.

I bought this car from Auto Integrale in Reading which is one of the most respected Integrale specialists in the country. Before I owned it, it had previously been maintained by all the top names in Integrale (Whalleys, Richard Thorne and AI) and I have about £8k’s worth of receipts from that era.

During the period of my ownership, the following work has been done:

New shocks (now done 15,000 km)

Clutch master & slave cylinders

All new disks

Polyeurethane suspension bushes

Forge Motorsport wastegate actuator

Rear crossmember welding (and other welding for MOT)

Brand new stainless CSC Exhaust

Plus the obvious:

Cambelt (x2)

Servicing (Fully Synthetic oil every 4,000 km)

The car also has:

MOMO steering wheel with Lancia centre piece

Alpine CD head unit & amp

In total over the 5 years I’ve probably spent approx £8k in servicing & maintenance & repairs, concentrating on mechanicals rather than bodywork, so she could do with some body work being done and topped off with a full respray.

The car has never given me any mechanical problems, although the Clifford Alarm doesn’t always pop the central locking – but I think this is the Alarm siren battery needing to be replaced, as the cars central locking works fine with the key. All other electrics work 100% which is rare for these cars.

This is priced to sell at £4,000, which I think is a fair price considering the car has never let me down, the bodywork is in better condition than many of this age and I have over 10 years worth of history!!

Pics are not new, but if anyone wants I can take new ones at the weekend

  • 4 weeks later...
hey I used to have one of these, good luck with the sale and here is a free bump :)

what will you get as a track car?

Hi mate. I bought one 2 weeks ago - MR2 GT-S Turbo. Would love to keep the Grale, but can't justify 3 cars and don't have room either.

Cool that takes me back a bit!

I used to have one too, had a HF Turbo i.e before that also, after 16v Grale was gonna progress onto the even wider bodied EVO II, but there's only so many years you can stare at the same dash board.

Nice car fella, rally Legend.:)
