razza
You'll all probably aware of the trauma's I've had and still having. But I can't say anymore on that as I'm going legal. However, I'd just like to say that there's some people on here that have made me remember that there's still people with big hearts out there, and do care about other members on here. I wasn't going to publically embarrass him but thought I would mention it as I think it's club spirit at it's best. The guy in question is Alex or G10ECK, I have had no dealings with him before and have never met the guy. He noted my issues and very generously offered me his n/a engine if I was still having troubles in Jan when he goes turbo. Now that's kindness!!! so just for him, thanks mate, you will have good karma for sure And thanks for all the support guys, it certainly helps when I'm feeling crappy about it all Let's hope the next engine is sound, and who knows I may be mobile by summer time:search:

razza
not gonna sue him if the engines got issues are you? only joking that hurt:( Only going legal because I paid for something that was not what I paid for. I've probably lost out on a couple of potentially good engines as well because of this, as I'm even more cautious now asking for every minor detail about the engine, and some of the people selling have probably not bothered because I'm too much hassle to deal with, and I'm finding it hard to trust again... adam bell
i have been a member on a few car forums having had 4 different cars this year and this is by far the best i have been on. everyone is really helpful and go out of there way to help. i was a member on the cliosport website i had my clio 172 cup for about 2 months was allways on the forum and i found it to be full of tw**s an chavs who were very unhelpfull. i sold it and bought a toyota supra uk spec manual and joined here a few months ago i have had a couple of issues with suspension lately, posted up my questions and had answers right away, and got my car sorted the same day. i love this club for its honesty and support when needed. razza
Thanks mate, I really appreciate that and just thought people should know what you're like. It's not often you get total strangers putting themselves out. I'm in a bit of a mind struggle at the moment really, because if I put a n/a into mine, I'll lose yet more money on it, but then I have no mode of transport at the moment, so I may take you up on that offer unless a solid TT engine with turbos comes up for sale before then. I may do the change and then after the wedding next year look to get another TT engine (should save me some petrol costs anyway, just won't be able to go fast:p, and the missus won't be able to complain as no. 2 kicks in:D). I've got to bide my time to ensure I get a good one as can't handle going through all this again. Good man:)

razza
well, I get to borrow my mum's yaris tomorrow as she's off work to do the xmas shopping, despite being a toyota I don't think it'll somehow match to supe.. I'm going to look driving that:d, so if anyone gets flashed tomorrow by a silver yaris you'll know who it is. At least you've given me a back-up. Good luck with the transplant. Class One
aye were a different breed awtogether eh;) I'm not a Fifer, but I spent a bit of time there as a kid and went to school in Aberdour. My parent are both from Glasgow and I adopted a Fife accent really quickly, to the point where both of them couldn't understand me. After that we moved to Polmont, then after a few years to England and it all went downhill after that.
