patrik
Hello, im installing a sld (greddy) but have not a clue where to put the black cable and where to put the red 12v cable. im down at the main ecu and has connected it in on pin 2 (speed sensor) and now only need power for the device. dont really want to cut more cables (if it can be avoided). any tips? bolarbag
Slave it off your odometer, or clock, is it common or ground you need, I suspect its common, they will both do too
patrik
is the odometer down by the main ecu then and if so where?
JustGav
Okay, if you are down in the ECU area using the SLD.. Then I would suggest using the wiring from the ECU rather than running extra wiring all the way up to the odo/clock. There is a pinout diagram on this site, if you have a look for it. If you don't come right, buzz back, and I'll dig out the pin outs for you.
patrik
i found the diagram and i have guessed at pin 33 labeled battery as a source for 12v ? and 79-80 as the ground to put the black cable? is there any other source around the main ecu one could get power and ground (since the cables in to the ecu is really tightly spaced). Ian C
Nope you want +B, pin A31. Wire it up to 33 and it'll be constantly powered even with the keys out. Stick the ground on B69, ECU ground. -Ian
