Hi Guys,

 

It's with a heavy heart I say this but after owning the car for over a year the time has come to sell. :(

 

A new house purchase on the horizon and change of contract at work - means I am travelling away too often with little time to spend at home let alone the car! To be honest, with the new job - havent had the chance to drive her much at all. The car is superbly well both asthetically and mechanically.

 

Please feel free to ask me for any further information that may help. I have to say this is the best car I have ever owned and will sorely be missed. Just hope it gets a good home. :)

 

I may need the cash sooner than planned so therefore have priced the car accordingly.

 

Spec is below, please question anything not mentioned. I have to say the HK T51R Kai is the coolest turbo around! The sound on boost is simply awesome. The car was mapped last year and made 650 ATF. With some smaller upgrades to fuelling, it should see a very safe 700 ATF. The people who mapped it also complimented how the car was very well balanced in looks, handling and power.

There could well be other bits which I may have missed out.

 

There are no scratches or tear's to the interior panels. It has not been raced although I'm sure it wouldn't be shy to! No marks to the paintwork and overall the car looks to be in a condition to that of a 3 year old car. In fact, I have been very fussy with keeping this Supra clean and running healthy.

 

Of course, I will not get what I paid - which I think was over the odds. However, with the house purchase - I can do with the liquid cash therefore for a quick sale I am looking in the region of £13995. This is a lot of car for the money.

hiya theo, i was gonna buy this from you before i bought mine, not sure if you remember? just like to say to everyone that theo was a great help with all my questions, very patient.

the spec is pretty impressive and the car sounds mint, unfortunatly never got to view it but i'm sure somone will snap up this bargain. good luck mate

The price no way reflects the quality of my Supra - it is stunning. I just didnt want to list it higher and keep having to drop it. Would rather prefer a quick sale with as little headache. :)

I like this turbo. And I want one.

 

Buy the Turbo get the car free! ;)

 

Took the Supra out for a nice drive on Monday. Felt so good in nice dry weather. Reluctant sale. :(

What's that turbo like in relation to common used (Garrett?) sizes? What's the spool like? I'm no good with turbos! Is it similar to a T61? T88?

 

Always vowed not to get another Veilside Supra, and I want a black one, but if I had the money I'd probably buy yours!

The T51R Kai is a BB Turbo so the response is still pretty good. Also, it is the prehaps the most pleasing sounding turbo you would hear on a Supra! :)

 

Idea of power curve - The turbo comes on song from approx 2100 rpm - from 2100rpm to 4000rpm the increase is gradual. It is afte 4000 the car transforms in to something else. I mean - it will REALLY throw you back along with a HUGE grin! Hits full boost at around 5250rpm and will hold that for - well.... as far as the rev meter goes! :D

I had a white TT Aerotop so this is very nice !

 

Brakes are they 4 piston UK front and 2 piston UK rear ?

 

How many miles since the Single has been fitted ?

 

Are you on std shocks/ ride height as I don`t want a car that grounds on speed bumps ?

 

Please PM me with a lowest price and timescale for this sale to happen as I might well be interested as I may have some inheritance money shortly in the next 7 days !

 

Lastly it might seem a bit silly but am I correct in thinking that this might be reasonably economical and driveable around town and on motorways below 70mph if the revs are kept low or does this drink petrol as if it`s going out of fashion ?

The turbo has covered a mere 4000 miles since bring fitted. Also can be inspected - looks as new! Brakes and shocks are as mentioned.

 

As for economy, it is very economical for the car and set up in question. I have seen much over 25mpg IIRC cruising on the motorway without boost. Even around town it is pretty good.

 

Please PM me and we'll take it from there. I've had a lot of interest but mainly from Sweden and Germany. It's simply arranging and adequate viewing time for them that seems to be the problem.
