The Danish Migatronic's are fantastic, would need to be used though. I know a good service engineer too. If you have the space something older without the rather fragile semiconductor inverter stuff are ultra reliable. I have an MTE220 which is handy as it can be wired 3 phase or single phase, but it's quite big. You wouldn't be throwing it in the boot of a car, that's for sure!

Thermalarc 202 here. Brilliant little AC/DC 200 amp welder.

 

Same here - I'd recommend it too. Only niggle I've found is that in 2T mode, you can't control the upslope; only the downslope is adjustable. Mind you, 99% of the welding I do is with a foot pedal so it hasn't affected me too much.
