DannyW
When driving my car at all speeds, the rear hatch constantly creaks and groans and squeeks, getting rather annoying now. Is this a common thing? any way of overcoming it?
LeeT
replace the boot rubbers, the two rubber blocks in the tailgate shut. Its a common problem and they only cost a few quid each. Can be a pain to do though as the screws are loctited in but a small gas torch will soon melt this

sdavies
Aye, amazing the difference in noise levels once you sort the rubbers. (I also only replaced the bottom ones). Word of caution though, the screws can be an absolute ass to get out. Make sure you get the right sized screwdriver for the job - those sneaky Japanese engineers locktite the bejesus out of those particular screws (who knows why?? sick joke?). fredm
Yep , only the lower rubber blocks need to be replaced. Like an idiot I ordered the top blocks too (mounted on the hatch), they are hard plastic and don't wear out. Waste of £12 that was!
