JustGav
It was a terrible bit of journalism IMHO... Giving the bloke on liveleak a hard time over the content? Well, sorry but I don't believe we need to be told what we can and can't watch, don't we have enough of that as it is?

Class One
It was a terrible bit of journalism IMHO... Giving the bloke on liveleak a hard time over the content? Well, sorry but I don't believe we need to be told what we can and can't watch, don't we have enough of that as it is? I was also concerned about the ACPO representatives' comments about lobbying Parliament for regulation on the internet. It's the wrong approach. If the Govt want to reduce road deaths in young drivers then there needs to be more regulation on their licensing. IE a ZERO limit for new drivers with regards to drink drive. Perhaps compulsory retesting for ALL drivers every 10 years. Removal of the endorsement system and have higher or harsher financial penalties commensurate with the offence. More continuity on sentencing of offenders. All the piece was, was a bit of journalistic sensationalism trying to shift the onus of blame onto internet hosting sites, rather than the persons themselves who actually post the content to the web in the first place. I don't think that programme did anything to promote a cause for safety at all. 'Twas mere titillation, and not even good titillation at that.
