facelift front side repaters

Anyone removed these before (the ones just in front of front wheel)?

I have some clear lenses to replace my stock orange ones, but from what i can see it's a bumper off job. I just wanted to this was right in case it can be done without removing the bumper.

Christ a bumper off job?

 

I would of thought they'd be like the prefacelift with clips. Have you tryed prying it off at one end?

 

Also whered you get clear lenses from? Ive never seen them before but would love some!

I have tried a bit of gentle encouragement to get them off, and there is a small rectangular notch on the underside which looks suspiciously like a groove to prise them off, but im wary of damaging the bodywork.

Someone must have removed these before????????????????????ANYONE? hehe

 

I got these for Paul Whiffin. They are not exact copies, they are simple oval shaped but are the exact same OVERALL size and will look ok i reckon....

If you can jack the front end up its not a problem to reach underneath. To reach from the top you'd need to take the headlight units out although the stock airbox gets in the way a bit with the O/S.

 

You need to make sure the old wiring looms suit the new lights or its a soldering job - not difficult just a bit fiddly. It depends on your bumper tbh, is it stock or after market??

All i wanna do is change the lenses!!!! There's no worry with wiring looms!!!!

It is a stock front.

Ill jack her up and see if i can get the arm in.

They push out from the back then?
