Rich
Hi ,left my supe for a bout 4 weeks and batterry was flat,I charged the battery up to full but am having no luck starting it,Im running safc 2 and 650 injectors, took spark plugs out (which were very black) due to running to much octane booster, cleaned up some of them but the screws holding the spark plug holders in have rounded off,so I will need to extract them and put new ones in once Ive drilled them out. on start up I can smell fuel but its not firing at all ,will all the plugs need cleaning off properly to get it started. does the safc setting reset theirselves if there is no power to the battery for a long time? thanks Rich
Ian C
If your plugs are carbonised like that then yes, they will need cleaning to be able to spark. The SAFC holds it's data so losing the battery shouldn't make any difference. I assume it's set up to trim the 650's? -Ian
Rich
yes its set up for 650s,the plugs were really badly carbonised, going to replace them with some ngk ones I think, ive had serious running problems with the car until it is warm,it overfuels big time, but once it is warm it runs fine. The car has the mines ecu on it,so I may go for a stock ecu and then e-manage when I put a single on,Terry said you might be able to map it Ian?
