FaithStalker Posted December 31, 2004 Share Posted December 31, 2004 Well money's tight over here in New Zealand, but managed to get a 1986 EP71 Turbo S, White ! pleased as punch with it, needs some things doing, like the engine mount is making a noise and the idle. Can anyone give me some advice on what i can do with the idle, or what i can tell some service guy here to look for, I really want to get it sorted cos sometimes it cuts out when trying to start from hot! (plus it gets juddery on downchange/braking before stopping) if anyone's ever owned one - can anyone also recommend things i need to check/do - ive got this so far: - service (sparks check, oil & filter) - auto gearbox flush (anyone know what auto fluid to do) - sort out the idle - find a 2nd hand engine mount - find an expansion tank with a proper cap that fits (are any of these common parts for EP70's??) give it a good wash and clean and repsray the center caps on the wheel .... neons amps lowered tints obviously cheers tony oh and happy new year guys! i'll be the first to hit it here in NZ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
