Willson
My dad wants to get around 100 old slides scanned/converted/digitized "on to the computer". I have found a couple of companies on the net, but am reluctant to send valuable slides to a random company. So, does anyone know of a good service/company? Willson
Well the frames are all 5cm x 5cm but the actual film varies on some of them as in this pic...
Pixelfill
If they are standard 35mm frames you might be better buying a scanner and doing it yourself. A Canon Flatbed scanner - something like the 5200F is ideal, and not too expensive. You then get quality control and no risk with sending your slides away. Mike Edit: This could be worth considering Canoscan 4400F
Willson
Interesting. That is about the same price as the cheaper quote I got. I will do some research on the CanoScan, cheers.
