Ady Posted November 20, 2007 Share Posted November 20, 2007 sounds like you have some mega problems mate A calibra turbo i had used to do that - used to over heat, although the temp gaguge never rose, and the fan never kicked in. Turned out my head had cracked, and it set alight on me one day when the oil ran onto the red hot turbo Was a nice pre bonfire night i can tell ya! Idle control valve not right (idling to low it stalls).. However need a lot more info before making a call. Well the battery is brand new and i checked the alternator and thats fine.?? It only happens when im sitting in traffic for about 20mins and then the whole car shuts off, the stereo goes off for a split sec and then it comes back on.
