Big Mark
I've got no gaskets on my Kakimoto. It came with my car and it was a crap fit and couldn't clear the lowest of speed bumps or get into my drive so myself and a steel fabricator removed it, chopped it up and refitted it perfectly. All the faces were ground flat for a perfect seal. No gasket, exhaust paste or anyting else required.
mattysupra
best thing for exhausts is silicon! We used as a desperate measure at a race meeting on a proper race car (v6 touring coupe) . It lasted the whole season. We have used it ever since and the car has won British champion ship now for 2 years running! Only thing is that for the first 10 miles you will get a nasty grey smelly smoke which makes it look like your engines seen better days.
