De cat

Got jspec tt Auto with HKS Super dragger exhaust and I am considering taking off the 2 cats. Does this make much difference to performance and what sort of gains should I expect, oh and does it make it sound any louder?

Cheers

Hi mate,

double de cat will make a big difference, BUT you will need a 1.2 bar restricter ring fitted otherwise boost will be too high and damage engine.

Yes it will be alot louder.

I would recommend keeping the middle second cat in the system, until you upgrade the following:

fuel pump

Plugs

install Restricter ring (from Chris Wilson)

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Chris
