T2 MSW Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 Done see why not, they will be pure white though I think its when you get down to the 9000 and 12000 that are almost purple you will have problems - those sort of colours would be no good for dipped anyway as they emit less light! T2 MSW Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 I cant remember which way round it is (9005 or 9006 for Jspec) but order for which type of headlight you have. When you get them leave the covers on the bulbs and line them up against the light - you will easily see which part of the lug needs cutting off. I just used a small junior hack saw and cut the plastic taking extreme care not to touch the bulb. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ivan Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 You shouldn't need to make any alterations if you order 9005's for the dips - I didn't. Don't forget, the loom connector isn't going on the back of the bulb anymore, the bulb is hard wired into the ballast which in turn plugs into the loom.
