Supra_Nish Posted December 12, 2004 Share Posted December 12, 2004 Hello All! Started changing my hoses to blue the other day, and was a bit stumped by one. Pointed out in pic attached. How is this one done? Has the hose been split and wrapped around the existing one or is there a way to remove the cable cover and replace? Thanks alot! Ian C Posted December 12, 2004 Share Posted December 12, 2004 You take the cable off the throttle cam, then undo the 12mm nut that tightens the cable into the throttle bracket, and the whole thing is free then for you to slide the hose over. -Ian Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Supra_Nish Posted December 12, 2004 Author Share Posted December 12, 2004 I thought everyone used the split method too but Ian's sounds a good idea, just didn't fancy undoing it incase there were any specific torque settings or something. Draper, no probs will take pics, most of its done but just the throttle cable to do. Think there are quite a few pics of engine bays wtih this done though.
