PJ
I bought some new indicators for my bike using the Buy It Now option and paid for the items immediately, as I do with all my eBay transactions. I paid for these back on the 13th September and was under the impression that I would receive the items with 5-7 days. My eBay auction page for these indicators I emailed Fatbikebits (bit of a misnomer if ever I heard one) via eBay on the 20th September - 7 days after payment was made Dear fastbikebitsltd, Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me when these items will be shipped as I've yet to receive anything. Many thanks. Paul I received no reply after waiting 4 days (it's now 24th September) so I phoned them to see what was going on with the order, gave my name, phone number and eBay reference number as well as my username so that they could check the order and get back to me later that day. No call back.... So I email them, again via eBay with the following message on 25th September; Dear fastbikebitsltd, I would be grateful if someone could get back to me on 079** 14**** with details as to where my order has got to. I spoke to someone yesterday who said that they would look into it and get back to me, I've heard nothing yet and would appreciate some communication. Payment was made 12 days ago and I am yet to receive anything. Regards Paul Still no reply by email or by phone, so I call them again on 28th September to see what's going on with my order, I get fobbed off with some excuse that a shipment went missing and that they are on their way. It's now the 1st October and I've still yet to receive my items or actually have them contact me about it. Delivery muck ups can't be an issue either as the address that they are being shipped to has a reception that is manned 24/7. So, here's the thing, if I raise a dispute against them via eBay my 100% good feeback is bound to be marred by these people as that's always the way isn't it. I'm going to phone then again tomorrow and demand a refund if they can't provide me with a shipping reference, if they don't play ball I'm going to have to go down the dispute path. What to do, what to do.....
hogmaw
Did you pay with Paypal? If so at least your money will be safe. How is their feedback btw?
vvteye
I had my feedback ruined like this Then I learnt the lesson. You need to do everything you can to get the parts so keep things sweet. You have 80 days to leave feedback so put the date in your calender and just like a sniper bid... snipe em with the feedback. 10 minutes before the 80 days were up I told it like it was (Yank wouldn't pay up after he found out the postage was high and reckoned it was my fault for not letting the good old USA what it was likely to be!) Called him all a dumb fuck in as polite a way as I ebay would allow and the feeling of retribution was awesome as I watched his 100% feedback go down the pan - he couldn't retaliate as the 80 day limit passed. PJ
Did you pay with Paypal? If so at least your money will be safe. How is their feedback btw? Yeah I did pay with Paypal, but I've raised a claim before and never seen my money back, it's not 100% safe. Their feeback is pretty good and everything pointed to this being a nice easy transaction. Shovels
Just make sure you don't leave it for too long before trying to claim through Paypal. I got blagged by someone saying they were chasing the item in the post. They left it just long enough so I couldn't claim and then I never heard from them again. I wouldn't worry about bad feedback. It's not as if you're running a business from eBay, if they do leave bad feedback I'm sure you can leave a counter remark against it to defend yourself. I would set the wheels in motion to make a claim through Paypal.
