colsoop
Sounds like you are getting the dreaded wheel hop.
suprab
Thanks for the reply.. It may be a stupid question but whats the dreaded wheel hop??
Mike M
Its the shuddering banging from the rear when you give it too much beans in the wet. Both mine do it some times. Feels like the wheels are bouncing up and down.
suprab
Thanks guys.. ya you are right mike it sounds like the wheel is bouncing up and down.. so if yours does it too then its normal.. right?? if yes then ill keep giving it beans in the wet!! although it sounds a bit scary sometimes.. Chris Wilson
The rear damper isn't controlling the movement of the wheel and tyre whilst it's spinning, or the bushes are too compliant to control hub movement under these conditions. Probably exacerbated by none stock wheel and tyre sizes? Low speed damping bleed isn't something you get with Teins, just a nice box and pretty paint, I'm afraid. suprab
thanks Chris.. I was not really blaming Tein as they are fairly new but nice box and pretty paint then maybe i should think again! the wheels and tyres are stock 17"... i guess i can live with it for now as long as im not doing any damage??
