rpslaughter1982
I need a baffle for my Nur spec for it's MOT. If anyone has one I could borrow/ buy/ rent I would be really grateful. The MOT is friday
supra matt
Hi mate why do you need a baffle there's no legal noise limit for mot
JamesG
Agreed. My car sailed through the MOT last week with Nur Spec R and no baffle.
RICHARDA
It will only fail if deemed to be unreasonably loud in the opinion of the tester. You should be fine.

rpslaughter1982
I've got a single mid cat but the problem was that the tester said that because the pipe was so big their lambda sensor was not getting a reading. He said with the baffle in it should work fine. If no one else has had this problem then I can only assume his equipment is a bit naff. My C02 reading was 4% and obviously I got no lambda reading whatsoever! Anyway, the car failed it's last friday and if I get it back to them within 10 days I won't have to pay for a full re-test. (being single the exhaust is really loud though, he did mention it but didn't fail it because of it. It's much louder then when i had the twins)

Same thing happened to me with my HKS Super Dragger - car had already failed due to various other rusty holes in my exhaust though, so the guy just stuck the probe in one of the rusty holes further up the exhaust to get a reading... it then failed on emissions too
