b0svensson
Apart from the do luck under diffuser tray are there any other rear end/ diffuser styling options that fit on standard bumpers. If so please post up some pics
juanchan
The trial rear seems to be popular these days. Where was the pic in your avatar taken? Looks like the factory I work in where they make the Koenigsegg CCXs.
b0svensson
In Hamble, Hants well spotted! what department are you working in, aerospace? iv been contracting here for a little while now. Yeah i know the trial is massively popular but if you dont have that then is there many other additions to that bumper?
juanchan
I'm up in the stress/design office! And JohnK on here works down in the factory. Whereabouts are you working? Is your Supra your daily drive? Only Dean the IT guy drives his in daily that I'm aware of. As for the rear bumper, I personally prefer the stock look so I'm not too clued up on bodykits etc unfortunately!

b0svensson
thanks nic, although the top secret one is a bit hard to make out. do you know if the abflug one fits to a standard bumper or abflug rear only seen some nice ones go in to work think one was purple? such a small world, i work as a composite engineer on the CCX refining the layup of the CF parts and improving the quality and hours on the project. Not got one at present but was tempted to go for an older version(pre mark iv, please excuse ignorance!) and do something abit different to it

It's a deep maroony/red colour. John and myself have mostly stock UKs (cosmetically - John's is a tad quicker than mine!) but we don't use them as daily drives. If the Ringwood meet goes ahead on the first Tuesday of September, you'll have to come down and say hi.
JohnK
I have some pics somewhere of the CCX we made that was going to be left unpainted, with the weave meeting in the center of the car all the way along. As for Ringwood, well ive actually retaxed the supra rather than sorn so I should be up for it.
Guest spider
Surly a Street Supra will use diffusers just for looks. Am i right in saying this? For a diffuser to be effective in rear down force, the air has to be cleaned/sped under the car and managed usually via a completely flat under side of the car to create low pressure. Like an under tray. I dont know what an underside of a Supra looks like though. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Whitesupraboy2
Spider correct, you'd have to do some work to clean the underside of the supra enough to create any positive downforce. They are used mainly to clean up the rear end of the supra as the bumper is quite high up.

It would be around 6 weeks by normal delivery, I could get quicker it I get airmailed to me, but it'd be quite a bit more for the postage.
