Pete
Superb. Cheers for the updates! We'll have to trade stories, although it sounds like you'll have a better experience being in the know with family.
KaoriFan
Superb. Cheers for the updates! We'll have to trade stories, although it sounds like you'll have a better experience being in the know with family. Hi Pete, Will be great to hear all about your time in China, you are going to be there before me now. Hope you take loads of photos of everything you see, if you want to get some idea of the country before you go, CCTV9 (sky 511) is a good option, they have travel documentaries and other things on there. I can't go now until Spring Festival/Lantern Festival 7th/15th Feb 2008. My mom need replacement elbow surgery this week, and won't be well enough for my vacation to China in October. hope all the plans are getting sorted out for you by now, not long to go 5 weeks thereabouts check out this website and search for the places you are visiting, lots of photo albums on there of all things, really good resource - http://www.flickr.com all the best Ian
Pete
Cheers Ian, Sorry to hear about you mum. Hope she repairs quickly. I ended up getting the Visa from visatochina.co.uk and they turned it around within a week and cost the least! Good stuff. I'll definitely be taking lots of snaps for sure. Pete
It's a Hayes and Jarvis organised thing so I don't think I'll have much free time I'm afraid. Beijing, Xian, Shanghai. Japan might be the year after next when I'd ideally come home with an R34...
