tucky40
Hi all, Im wondering if by changing the exhaust on my car i will also need to change the AVCr boost controller settings to keep the boost at the same level it was before. For example, if the exhaust is more free flowing hence less back pressure will there be a drop in boost with the current boost controller settings?? Ben. RobSheffield
It should only really be affected if you remove the cats and replace with decat pipes. Keep an eye on your boost guage though...
tucky40
Well it was boosting to 1.2 with the old exhaust on...........with the new one 1.1 max...............ive now changed the settings on the boost controller (uped the duty) and increased (start duty) in the first three gears to maintain a constant 1.2 in every gear. Does this sound right? should i be aiming for 1.2 bar in all gears including 1st? cause it used to peak at 0.8 bar in first with the old exhaust.
