robin Posted July 26, 2007 Share Posted July 26, 2007 My power steering pump sounds a bit like it has some ball bearings in it. If you squirt the bearing behind the pully with oil it gets a little quieter. There looks to be plenty of fluid in there which isnt black or anything. robin Posted July 27, 2007 Author Share Posted July 27, 2007 hmm... we do have a bearing press at work but it would mean driving too and from work with no power steering pump and therefore no aux belt so i think i might just have to get a replacement Thanks for the tip thought, just need to find a Jspec being broken somewhere.
