rik
Just putting the feelers out for a set of uk 17" wheels. I'm not too fussed about slight curbing or flakey paint, but do want the tyres to be in good order. Basically my 16's all need new tyres and i'm seeing if i can get 17's for similar cost of four new tyres EDIT: No longer needed
JamieP
I have a pair of fronts in good nick with no tyres if you are intrested, £
vvteye
I have a set of stock facelift 17's (with only slight kerbing) which have around 9mm left on the front goodyear f1's and on the back are ventus sports one with about 5mm and one with 10mm. I am just about to sell my my BBS's today and was then planning to wear these stocks down to nothing before selling as you don't normally get your tyre money back. I can be tempted though so pm me what you are willing to pay and I'll consider it. (please bear in mind that each tyre cost over £150 when they were new with about 12mm tread) Piccies in the garage
rik
Thanks mate, but i've just won a set of ebay. Thanks anyway.
francis
Was going to offer a set of 3 mint ones, but you're already sorted! I bought mine on eBay too, and arranged to have them delivered through Parcel2Go. After weeks of failed pick ups they were eventually shipped and they lost one! Bloody typical, be careful if you get them shipped!
vvteye
Thanks mate, but i've just won a set of ebay. Thanks anyway. Were they facelift? If so do you mind me asking what yo paid for them so I know what they're worth?
jamesmark
Were they facelift? If so do you mind me asking what yo paid for them so I know what they're worth? A set of 17's should go for about £200 ish £300 at a push. However a totally mint set can fetch about £400. Tyres with me any do not mean anything as I would never trust second hand tyres. vvteye
Thanks for this but there is a difference between these and the facelift ones. though the difference is subtle do these generally fetch more or is it assumed they are all the same?

Shit luck there mate, i've used Parcels2go before for wheels and they were very good. Booked 3 day delivery but they arrived next day. I'm collecting these though. Were they facelift? If so do you mind me asking what yo paid for them so I know what they're worth? If facelift are the ones with the smooth centre cap as opposed to the ones with the 5 holes in, then yes they were facelift. Got them for £213, but the rear tyres need replacing which suits me as i can get the tyres of my choice and they'll then last a good while. They're in very good nick bar a small scuff on one wheel.
