djskeme
Hi guys. Just fitted an apexi induction kit, and taken the car out for a spin, first off when i started the car up (after a few days not starting it) i got a lot of white smoke but then nothing...i assume this was from where i took intercooler tubes off and also messed around with the air box tubes? Then driving, putting the foot down doesnt sound more throaty like it does in other cars (as I was expecting from a nice v6) and also with the stock dump valve i hear the atmospheric woosh.....i was kinda hoping i would hear wastegate chatter! Is this all ok...or would something work out better?
kieren1234
Its a straight 6 buddy, but yeah it sounds like its all ok. Shope around and see which are the best filters (allthough i did here these were up there with the best).
CarlT67
Yea the Apexi comes out the best in induction testing, a lot of people however prefer the standard airbox... Also I would only expect you to hear I little more induction noise, like a sucking, I think you will only get serious wastegate chatter on the big singles....
