Ian W
Well, i've been through the mill today going through lists of pro's and con's for my next car. The aristo was winning (for obvious reasons) until i realised that it could just prove too costly for my 300mile per week commute. So....next on the list is a DC2 Integra Type R. Has anyone owned or still own one of these little rockets? If so then please get in touch so I can bend your ear a bit thanks in advance Ian
Rayman
Nice choice, i like these, they are lightweight and handling is supposed to be brilliant! Cheap to insure as well the Uk ones, and the J-spec ones are cheap as chips!

Ian W
stretching the budget on that a bit mate. probably looking at around £5k purchase price unfortunately and the civic's just aren't that cheap yet.
Cable
I had an ITR for a little while. Great fun and the engine is awesome! Slight bit of playful oversteer when pushed. I kinda prefered my Civic though. Have you checked the insurance for one as they used to be really expensive, as much as an Evo and more than an RX7 and Supra strangely
Jezz
I have one. Had it years. Best handling car i've ever driven bar none! No better sound than an ITR at full chat 9000rpm. If you want to know anything give me a shout.

Supra ST Myster
i used to have the origanal JDM integra type R, before the supra, loved that car and miss it big time also, proper racing feeling car, never forget the day i picked it up, only switched to the supra as always wanted one for power and looks.. to many cars beat the integra type R which was another reason for the sale.. I had considered this but as it's mostly back roads here I think it'd be a decent purchase

uzthedentist
very nice cars, however the most amazing type r ive driven is the ek9 civic. that thing is bloody fast 5.5 0-60 and on a 1.6 engine. damn economical and amazing sound with a spoon zorst. its also a hatchback so v practical
Willson
I had one for a year. Awesome fun but they do feel cheap and tinny compared to the supra/mr2. Not surprising I know, given their lightness, but I did miss the (relative) luxury. Still, I would definitely recommend one. Such fantastic fun to chuck around. You can take sweeping corners with the wheels sliding and still feel safe that you know where the limit is.
