Accident

VELOCITY

Recommended Posts

Sitting watching rubbish on TV and heard a motorbike roar past the flats then a huge bang! Ran outside with all the other residents and found out a Ford Galaxy had pulled out and the biker ran straight into the side of him. Been outside for an hour and is does not look good. Closed off the A217 and an Air abulance has arrived but i fear the worst.:(

Depends on the view that car driver had.

But in most cases its the car driver fault. Esp this time of year when they all go on holiday and seem to loose the ability to drive.

car for pulling out mate... don't realy matter how fast the bike was going... person should have seen the bike:(

most bikes have race cans fitted which makes them sound as if there hammering along but there not..

The driver should have been more careful, it could have been avoided, buts lets not forget I heard the bike from the flat and it sounded like it was doing some hard acceleration so going pretty fast.

It's never the biker at fault.

Ok, take the bike out of the equasion. Now it's a brand new mini. So this mini is now halfway into the front of the Ford. You tell me, who do you think's fault it is?? This time the mini's exhaust is quiter and it isn't as small as a bike which could have gone round the car?

I've taken the mini out, now there isn't an accident, it's a wonderful world without those pesky bikes.

prob was, but there is noway that the police or other can tell, as i said bikes always sound as if there going faster than they really are,, i had the same thing happen to me, i was lucky, i didn't hurt myself too bad, i was doing 50 55 in a 30 and a terry turbo in a Renault 5 pulled out in front of me and i hit hit side on,,, 100% his fault

Wonder if he was speeding? If so, who's fault would it be then? That part of the A217 is only 40mph

But if you took all the cars out and we only were allowed to ride bikes there's be no traffic jams and no more accidents on the road. Then it really would be a wonderful wonderful world :D

ha ha well said..... only thing i will say about bikes is.......i hate it when they sit right on my ass in my blind spot, that really pisses me off big time. if i knocked somebody off like that i would have no sympathy for them what so ever.

I have never heard so much bullshit (that's a lie, I read threads here regularly).

You have pretty much decided that a car is at fault regardless of anything. You know where the car was hit, where the biker appeared from, what speeds both vehicles where going and in what direction from a few lines of text from somebody who didn't see it themselves?

ohhh kaaaay. Do me a favour chaps, don't ever be a jury for me if I go to court for anything will you?

Cheers

I hope everybody is safe and well regardless of fault or conviction from here.

Crikey, a girl i know is lethal in her Mini :p

Hope the chap or chapess on the bike is all ok, and i also hope the driver of the Ford isnt too shaken up.

Lets leave blame for the police and insurance companies to sort out ;)
