garetheves
Gettin bloody confused. Last 2 years the game changed its name to Football Manager but just doing a bit of searching and have found Champ Manager 2007. What is the latest one called, football or champ manager and will it be 2007??
Kopite
There was a fall out between the people who made it and Eidos or something, so they split. Eidos brought out their own version and kept the name, the original idea was renamed Football Manager

garetheves
Ok heres a link to the challenge: http://www.thedugout.tv/community/showthread.php?t=32583 The Gist: Basically you load the save game and you start off with an empty team in the prem, an Assistant manager and 40 mil in the bank. The idea is you have to try to win the Prem within 2 years.

Robert
no there is a editor with the game, it lets you change the players attributes, how much money you have, well you can basically change anything and then save the new database.

I like it! Still cheating though and i'd rather just be good at it or even just 'ok'. At the moment i'm lucky if i can buy a draw never mind a win! any other players on here? think the mkivsupra.net league could be cool too
Robert
i think you just need to find the correct formation and team orders mate, i had a rubbish team but if you get the right set up you can do very well, thats the difference between this version of football manager and the older championship managers. Ian W
and how do you 'find that'? just experimenting with a set team or is there a tried and tested formation etc?
Robert
well i've been playing championship manager for at least 6-7 years so im used to looking at the opposite team and seeing where i can stop them and how i can exploit them. If a team has a good midfield then try and out number them ,little thing like that help. I just take every game as it comes and look at what team im playing. Training on this football manager is important as players will improve with the correct training.
