TLicense
I used tdi north, good set of lads but inexperienced and couldnt do it in the end, if i was to stick to the fcon i would have gone to abbey as there about the best t mapping fcons, also owen development which is a little closer to you. on another note, when i costed up traveling/mapping of the fcon it wasnt much more to ditch/sell the fcon and buy the aem ecu!! so i did that You're joking! They actually tried to map an ECU that they had no experience of, on a customers car. Did they pre-warn you that they hadn't succesfully mapped one before, or was it like after spending a day or two on the dyno, they said "nope can't do it"? If it's the first one, I would never have taken my car there, if it's the second, I'm never going to take my car there. (Not that I would have cause to ever take my car there!) dangerous brain
lol - sound business advice for any industry, no? Right up to the point that cheaper alternatives become available.
Mike B
Right up to the point that cheaper alternatives become available. Too true matey, but they still manage to sell a few... hence this thread. I did send a Mail to TDI north asking a few pertinant questions about my system and possible future upgrades/support. I'm still waiting for a reply. You would like to think that being HKS authourised tuners they would come back with more than "dunno mate, but we'll have a go!" lol
