PJ Posted May 26, 2007 Share Posted May 26, 2007 Also can depend on your burn speed and whether or not you're doing owt else on your PC. Set the burn speed down a little and just make sure you're not using your PC when running the conversion/burn. I used to piss about with all this then just ended up buying a DIVX player instead, so so much easier, you just burn 6 or so xvids straight onto the disk, as a data disk, then lob it in the player. Pete Posted May 26, 2007 Share Posted May 26, 2007 I've found DivX to DVD conversion a very hit and miss affair. Often with a sudden jump, then voices out of sync. I think it depends on which of the many versions of MPEG4 compression are used. DivX, Xvid etc I did find one program that was quite reliable, but it took AGES. I now don't bother and play them via the laptop. As above really - your best bet is to buy a DivX player. They're quite cheap. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
