Eagle F1 discontinued?

This is true.........tried everyone to get a new F1 GSD3 after i picked up a flat at supra pod. Goodyear have discontinued these so the only way you'll get one is if a store has them sitting on a shelf somehwere.

Tried ENVY, PRO Alloys. And everyone else i can think of. If someone claims they can get you one id tell them to ring goodyear before they promise, casue it aint gonna happen.

Went for the Falken 452 instead as ive heard these are damn good and much cheaper.( do a search yourself on these tyres) was £140 instead of goodyears £180.

Hope that helps, ben

I'm going to try the new ones on the front I reckon next week. Who gives a stuff what they look like?

I read a review of them the other day that said they were very good, a significant improvement on the old ones.

Thanks for the reassurance Simon. Tyres are one of those things that cost a lot just "to try".

Thats a shame if its true. Not only do I trust the F1s 100%, I really like the design of the tread. I'm being sad of course, but they look great on the car. They were a rare instance of style with substance. The Toyos are close in design, and close in feel to me but the F1s had the edge. The 'new' F1s look naff, but obviously they will be as good or better than the ones they replace. The Pilots look ok, but c'mon, they're French.

I'm currently trying out FK452s on the front having failed to find GSD3s- they seem to perform rather well. May be a different story on the rears though.

Yeah, I've had 452's before, and I'm going back to them. Very pleased last time, but they weren't in stock last time I changed.
