Dragonball
Just awesome... Drove one in anger on Sunday with a load of others- forget the Porche / Lambo etc - this is THE minor deity of the road IMHO! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_360 Anyone lend me £100K? Gaz Walker
The F430 is better though, isn't it?

b_have
I drove a black spyder a couple of months ago, fantastic engine sounds but a little slow.
jamesmark
Driven a 360 twice (2 different 360's) before and I was hugely unimpressed. I do not usually do the whole "its not a supra" thing like we see so often but I preferred the Supra. The flappy paddle gearbox was shocking, the excitement soon went after about an 10 mins behind the wheel and after 3 hours behind the wheel I was questioning even myself with the slating I was giving it. Lovely sounding engine but not quick.
DaveK
When I see a Ferrari, my heart wants one. I seriously considered an F355 last year and even went to look at a few. But they just don't seem to be reliable enough and some of the repair costs are scary. If money wasn't an option I'd chuck the 911 in the bin and buy a Ferrari tomorrow though. mathew
i find ferraris to be too much of an obvious choice to people with a bit more cash than me. there are a load of alternatives which i would consider. not saying i dont like them but just wouldnt have it at the top of my list

I wanted one because when I see them, my heart skips a beat. There was no logic involved.
RedM
Saw a piano black Aston earlier this evening. I'd have one of those over a Ferrari.
jamesmark
I'm not sure what you mean by "obvious" choice? Pretty obvious what he meant to be honest. However Ferrari may not be such an obvious choice in this day of age. For me Aston Martin over a Ferrari.

There was no logic involved. one guy down here has got a 360 and a mate asked him what made choose it and he replied with 'i dont know, cos its a ferrari' he obviously didnt have a clue about cars just a lot of money and got turned on with the ferrari key. i guess with myself as im into cars id look at alternatives. if its the status thing to people then thats fine but if its individualty then i guess id be looking at other things as i honestly see more 360's than i do supras, or any other 'rare' car. I've made the same comment before when it's been mentioned regarding Supra's - the whole "rare" thing is totally lost on me. I don't understand why it's important to people. I may well get more excited about rare cars, but only because I don't see them often so they make a bigger impression on me than something I see every day. I don't think I'd ever choose a car just because it's rare compared to another car.
Kopite
I want the Aston DBS when it comes out, shame i can't afford it Would have a Lambo over a Fezza too, only Ferrari i like is the F430
DaveK
Obvious in that people are buying them just to show off? Now that was not too hard to work out now, was it? I've always thought this was a funny attitude. It seems to be a common view that people buy cars like that just to show off. I'm sure some do - but I'm sure some people buy them because they like them. The benefit of having money is that if you do like something, you can buy it - and it's not a requirement that you know the entire history of the marque to do so. I must admit I bought the Supra for one reason and one reason only, because I wanted a Jap sports car I could not care less if it was a GtiR or a Skyline or an Intergra but I ended up with the Supra, however now my mindset has changed and I like the Supra even more as the looks that I get, people do stop in the street and watch you go past it's an amazing feeling. I would still even after that though buy a car only if I wanted one and not for any other reason. I know what you mean Dave with people mentality it is shocking, my ex mate dad who had the 360 was very much "why buy anything else, it's a Ferrari" it was enough to make you sick.
