Havard
Check your excess on your insurance policy!! Mine was £40 for a new screen!! All you need to do then is crack it!! H.
Ewen
Try toothpaste rubbed on with newspaper first. As that wont work, then get some Jewelers Rouge.

Pig
You dont even need to worry about cracking it. Just ring up and get a new one.....dont forget to tell them its cracked though lol! Who you insured with? If its a good company there are plenty of people that will do it for free (loose your excess)
brettjones
thanks alot for all your input i will buy some new blades and call norwich union direct (£480 full comp) my excess is £60 small price for a new screen
Ryenose
i work for autoglass, you can claim from ur insureance for scratches because its the same as chips and cracks MOT wise! u will jus have to pay ur excess which is norm bout £60 for norwich union. Remember to ask for a toyota OE windscreen as the normal ones we fit are just copys and not great! there normally isnt an extra charge for an OE screen. It's only about 4 weeks since I had mine replaced. Best £40 I ever spent and it was an original Toyota one too!! Luckily mine already had a 6" crack in it at the top so I didn't have to break it myself....!! The guy from Autoglass was excellent too!! H.
