You dont even need to worry about cracking it. Just ring up and get a new one.....dont forget to tell them its cracked though lol!

 

Who you insured with? If its a good company there are plenty of people that will do it for free (loose your excess)

i work for autoglass, you can claim from ur insureance for scratches because its the same as chips and cracks MOT wise! u will jus have to pay ur excess which is norm bout £60 for norwich union. Remember to ask for a toyota OE windscreen as the normal ones we fit are just copys and not great! there normally isnt an extra charge for an OE screen.

It's only about 4 weeks since I had mine replaced. Best £40 I ever spent and it was an original Toyota one too!!:D

 

Luckily mine already had a 6" crack in it at the top so I didn't have to break it myself....!! The guy from Autoglass was excellent too!!
