N/A to Turbo kit

Hi

I need more power. I bought an N/A and it was fine for a while, but now im bored and need more power.

Twin Turbo cars are about twice as much as an N/A so i would be looking at spending an extra £4K to £5K to get one that looks like my lightly modded N/A, so I thought about NOS, but re-fills would be a nightmare. Ive looked on the web and can get a turbotechnics kit to bolt straight onto an N/A for about $4500 which i think is about £2250 any idea how much a good tuner would charge to fit it ?

Has anyone else done this before (silly question)

Hi Brett

There is more too it than just bolting on a kit.

Fueling

ECU + mapping

Clutch + gearbox

Cooling (radiator, intercooler, oil cooler, etc.)

Gauges

Labour

It all adds up and you'll be lucky to get change out of £10k if you do the job properly.

Just not worth it, if you want more power sell the NA and buy a TT.

cheers
