AP brakes - info needed

Guys n gals. I have been offered the following for a very good price but am unsure as to whether they will fit or can be made to fit my Supe.

The front discs/calipers are from AP kit no. BGBKEV07, and the rears are from kit no CP4556-1000P. They were bought for a Mitsu Evo but apparently, they will fit other vehicles with the correct brackets.

Does anyone know if this is correct and does anyone have any info on this brake set up? I have checked the AP site and it si not very informative.

I am copying this thread into the general section too.

Go here

http://www.apracing.com/roadcar/brakekit/dataselect.asp

and select Toyota and Supra...it will give you the info on the correct kit for the Supra. If your's is compatible then all should be ok. If it's smaller (especially in width of disc) it potentially might not be worth it...however if you have J-specs atm anything would be an improvement.

If what you've been offered isn't the Supra's specific kit you may need new Bell housings for the discs and caliper brackets.

One AP kit for the Evo is 4 pot calipers, the other is 6 pot, but only on small 330 x 28mm discs, as Alex says, you would need caliper brackets, 355 x 35 mm discs, and bells, so it's probably not worth bothering. I am looking for AP 6 pot calipers though, so if they ARE 6 pot ones I might be interested. At the right price :p

OK, I spoke to a smashing guy at AP and have found out that the kit numbers specified are definitely for an Evo. The BG number is that used by a company called BG Racing who use AP parts and rename them with their own brand.

I have now contacted the seller and told him that i wont be persuing the sale. If any of you chaps want his details, then please contact me via PM or email.

sorry i'me a bit late on this one and the funs all over but i looked at this exact conversion myself after my mate got hold of some for his 300 zx which they will fit on, the problem on the supe was the mounting holes overlapped so it would be very difficult to do with a bracket so bit the bullet and got some uk's instead, hope this puts it to bed for you
