Trig
Nice one Jake, I take it the link you gave was to the supra ones or do you have to state the model when ordering??
Jake
You need to tell them whether you want HB3 or HB4 (aka 9005 or 9006) when ordering.
Trig
About to order........ Whats the difference between HB3 and HB4??
Jake
Ones for highbeam the other for dipped. IIRC, if you look on the lens of J-spec headlights it'll say which is the HB4
dangerous brain
Do they fit unmodified or do you have to clip the lugs on them?
green_dragon
When I went to buy 100w bulbs for mine, the guy fed me some BS about not being suitable for plastic lenses, 'cos they'll melt the housing and the wiring loom'. Is it safe to say this is tosh?? Plus he wanted about 16 quid a bulb, err no thanks. Chris
tbourner
Someone on the ZR forum melted their light casing inside with 100W bulbs, the ZR's meant to have 55W. Dunno if the same applies to Supras though.

Mind you, I don't usually drive around with my highbeam on so they don't get a chance to melt anything. Aren't pretty much all headlights made from plastic apart from the lens? Trig
I ordered mine today. For everones info HB3 is the main beam and HB4 is for dipped The ones i bought are 55w so hopefully wont melt
dangerous brain
You can get away with 65's easily enough as that is what i put in my N/A. They were the HB3's but not J annexed so they needed a little modification.

Should be good for those jap lenses with condensation problems! :D Roy.
