tomssupra
Hi, Im looking for some new wheels, going for 19" on the Rear and probably 18 or 19 on the front - I just need to know which offset i need for the wheel to be right on the edge of the car, or even a little outside? Is it as simple as that? Thanks,
Homer
It's simple, but not that simple The stock offset is +50 front and rear so you want to be as close to this as possible to keep the handling and wear in check. What wheel widths are you planning on getting? on a +50 offset, 10.5 inch rear will be more or less right on the lip. It's more difficult with the fronts as the wheel has to turn. If it was right out near the lip you wouldn't be able to turn the wheel very much! I'd stick to 9inch or below on the front.

The wheels will basically sit 19mm closer the arch than the stock sizes (stock offset is +50mm, yours are +31mm), so they will be close on the rear. It will affect your handling to some degree, so the wheels would not really be suitable for hard track use.
