terribleturner
Yeah that's what im thinking. What is the point?? Can i get away with both coming pre TB or post TB?? And if i can could i not run them from the same port and Y them off the the valves nipples??
Chris Wilson
No, it won't work like that. Think about how it adds air and where thae air has to come from, and go to.
terribleturner
Ah, that's all it's doing then. Letting the air pass through the valve so it knows when it's under load. Makes sense now. Nice one Chris
Chris Wilson
When the solenoid opens due to the PAS fluid pressure going up, it allows filtered air from in front of the all but closed throttle butterfly to bypass the butterfly and enter the plenum AFTER the butterfly, thus raising the idle speed to help stop stalling. Crude but works fine.
