Trouble is , things get worse when the councils actually house them in council property, we have a major problem near where we live as they frequent a pub in Belmount Circle called The Spanish Arch, its also next to one of the only surviving all night petrol stations that hasn't yet been turned into a block of flats, but on a Friday night they have to close the garage becuase the Pikeys pour out of the pub and nick everything from the garage and a racially abuse the staff there.

Someone actually tried to Torch the Spanish Arch..but were unfortunatly unsuccesful.

So No petrol, snacks or ciggi's on a friday night have to drive a couple of miles.

Scum

There might well be some nice ones out there, I'm just yet to meet them.

But I don't think it's a coincidence that things go missing, buildings get broken into and windows just get smashed within hours of them moving into the area.

We got pikes-in-disguise round our way. There you are, keeping an eye out for transit vans and chelsea tractors with no tax towing caravans when the advance guard/scouts turn up in secret - photo evidence supplied :)

Once a year for us round here...

The usual crap, broke a small fence then parked up.. been doing for years on the trot. Usual rubbish; gas bottles; garden rubbish...

This year though they moved within 2 days, wonder if it had anything to do with the huge amount of construction going on here, and the fact that agents who are selling expensive boxes had them moved on to protect sales.

There have been a pikey (or travellers as they prefer to be known) family living in the same field near my town for 15 years. Now the council wants the land back WE are having to pay £250,000 yep that`s right, quarter of a million fuckin squids to re-settle them in another field. What part of travelling don`t they understand
