Starting problems!

Hi guys, got my Supra back from repairs (front passenger side damage) and having some problems with starting. Had it back about 5 days and the day after I picked it up I turned the key to start it and the dash lights went on but it didn't start. Tried it again and it was fine.

Then the other morning it happened again, and again and again and then fired up. It seems to only happen if the cars been left for any length of time (like overnight). Always used to start with no problems.

So, any ideas what's up? There's plenty of petrol, the battery should be fine, the car's an auto tt, and it doesn't just 'click' when I turn the key, it sounds like it's trying to fire but just doesn't until I've tried a few times. Just worried it may not start at some point and I'll be stranded!

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for that guys,. Thinking about it, does sound like it's just the starter motor struggling. Anyone think that maybe one of the connectors to it may be lose after the accident perhaps? I'll try and take a look - although I don't have axle stands as the guide suggests, or infact some of the other tools!

Cheers mate. Actually up in Peterborough at the moment but got a mental week this week - Brighton until Thursday then up to Rockingham for the weekend. Will be back in Essex direction early next week, so if the offer still stands and I haven't figured it out by then, then I may take you up on that. Thanks a lot for the offer. Man, I love this place sometimes!
