hi

as im new to the board with the misses (because im obviously not good enuff to own a supra :p :p :p )

i was wondering is there a spec of your car anywhere on here, and how can she take her car to say 450bhp, been told in the past its quite easy with just bolt ons to reach 450bhp with no trouble, jusie (misses) has bought a blitz indution and hks bov to start with and a hks drager and removed one cat so far

sorry as this question must have been asked a million times

thanx in advance

UK car? J-spec? Auto or Manual?

Assuming its a j-spec - you'd need Hybrid Turbo's or a small single. Uprated fuel system using 550 or 650cc injectors. FMIC. EGT gauge. Fuel Computer or replacement ECU. And the clutch may need to be upgraded on a manual...

gives 412rhhp thats ur 450 bhp ish ur looking for

I think yours is the exception rather than the rule though eh? My car produced 350 at the wheels with the same mods except the FMIC. I am unsure as to the increase the FMIC would make but would be surprised if it was 60bhp.

BTW, mine is a J-spec Auto too

i didnt realise a fmic gave you anymore bhp, thought it was just to increase and cool the air and you needed a single turbo or hybrids to complement it. im so so wrong

new item for shopping list then for jusie

do none of you run digi boost controllers, like a apexi

I think you'll find a lot of the members run digital boost controlers. I have just put my own Blitz SBC ID3 and power meter up for sale as I am upgrading to a greddy emanage system and a profec EO1 controller.

i dont think a FMIC will give you much gain if any. i fitted mine more as a safety feature to reduce intake temps etc when running higher boost.

At the wheel Col or the hubs? Baldy was talking about at the hubs, there might not be so much difference in it after all.

Bitch!:p As a matter of fact, the diet is going OK as is the training. I am pretty confident that I will lose at least 15kg by December.

As for the car, I cannot wait to get my hands on the new "Orange Beast" :)

well the standard figures for the car are 326uk and 280import arent they?? what are the differences?

also you go on about at the hub/fly/wheel, is there actually a standard for everybody to follow, and what are the standard figures taken from (fly/hub/wheel)

thankyou for entertaining a stoopid person LOLOL (engines not my strong point at all, especially these funny jap ones:p :p :p )

lotus - it has 320bhp standard IMO...... reason I say this is because I had my previous silver supra TT dyno'd and it made 323bhp...... totally standard auto again. I ran a 13.812 sec 1/4 mile in the silver car and a 13.813 in your black veilside with near identical 60ft times at Crail up here.

The JDM car figure of 280bhp is utter bollocks IMO as I think I mentioned to you and Jusie....... that's only the quoted figure because of the jap manufacturers 'gentlemans agreement' that this would be the maximum power produced by their cars.
