crashoverride
if you could combine eliments from both paks it would be better, ideally you want a marker fitted with a micro switch trigger and a motorised hopper. look for a marker called "ANGEL" they are well priced and smack on the mark, eerr basicly thats my 2pence worth hope it helps mate
terribleturner
Can you not go to the shops and test them out anymore?? When i was thinking of returning to paintball there was very nice marker at a great price called a kingman spyder or something or other. Very nice bit of kit. Felt great and you could strip it in the field in no time
Daston
go for air as its used on more sites and also a bit safer than co2 for the marker. I went for the new Tippman X7 as I wanted something that I could use time and time again without worring about reliablity check out http://www.talkpaintball.com
Ric
they hurt, when the tank comes off and hits you in the balls. I had this with a cheapy one, stung for a bit

dini_the_owl
Hi mate, get a co2 marker without a doubt, much cheaper to use for your budget, the gains from co2 to Air is very noticible with power and accuracy but if you get a good electronic marker its just as good. i use a bumped up spyder imagine electronic marker with elec hopper and its rapid, done all upgrades and on full auto can get aprox 13balls/sec although it is prone to bursting balls of long periods of auto, it also has settings for 3 burst/slow and rapid which is fun, definately look as tipperman or spyder,i prefer spyder as there is more upgrades and barrels available IMHO. Daston
you should be able to use any marker at a walk on as that is what they are all about, punter days they tend to be a bit stricker on what you use and elctro markers tend to be a no no or they will ask you to drop the speed to give the others a chance. Try http://www.fatbobspaintball.co.uk/ http://www.bzpaintball.co.uk/ and if your in no rush http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/ I have ordered all my stuff from these guys BZ were super quick however fat bobs do take their time and as spec ops are in the states they also take a while but are cheap. Daston
I would go for a Tippmann they are good markers reliable and very modable (X7 is the best on the market for that) they will also hold their own at walk ons as well and you will be aloud to use them on punter days as well. Jspec Germany
HPA is the way to go. I shoot a heavily modded Tippmann A-5 capable of over 22 balls per second. There are lots of good markers out there. Check out pbreview.com
RobAce
i have been looking at this http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/product_detail.asp?SKU=101+0085&CAT=106212 but wot else would i need
Daston
With the X7 you will need to get an air bottle, you will need to get it from the UK as the US use different standards, fatbobs is the best place to get air from as they are the only place in the UK who test their bottles before sending. other than that your good to go (other than a mask).
