Advice - rear strut brace

Recommended Posts

In fact, what prompted me to look for one was the creaking I get from my rear suspension... which might not be the suspension at all. It could be the boot seals, which I hear is common.

But if it fixes it, then that's just splendo!

It is probably a good idea to replace the boot rubbers first, this should quieten things down on an uneven surface. Driving over speed bumps on a slight angle use to twist the rear door slightly which caused the creak.

The carbon firbre/aluminium Cusco brace is very stiff and light weight. You'll need to cut slots in the plastic trim that covers the tops of the suspension to get the brace to fit, if you want I'll try to post some photos of mine installed tomorrow.
