toyotasuprauk
My car is at the garage getting its service and they said they can’t change the distributor cap as the leads are all corroded and I need new ones. Can I get these from a motor factors or should I only get them from Toyota? Anyone know how much before I start calling around?
Gaz Walker
They will be pricey from Toyota I'd imagine. I can get you some fancy Magnecor ones though if you like Gaz.
toyotasuprauk
How much are those Gaz?
toyotasuprauk
Checked some site online they were £130, then called a motorfactors they were £111.65 then called Steve Manley and the geninue toyota ones were £95 or £99 with the delivery. Not exactly cheap but they did last 12 years I suppose! These prices include VAT. Damn my cars eating money at the moment!
Gaz Walker
How much are those Gaz? They are normally £150 a set... Since you need them quickly it would be unwise to order as Magnecor normally take a week to deliver. Regards, Gaz.

Gaz, does Magnecor have leads for the TT. I checked there online pdf, but could only find the n/a? If so, whats the partnumber and price for a complete set? Thanx! michael
Gaz, does Magnecor have leads for the TT. I'm sure they could make you some up but they won't be able to provide you with the parts on the engine to plug them into (TT doesn't have HT leads)
