does anyone know the wages for police officers and Police community support officers?

so basically the same wage i get now but with a better scope for pay rises :)

 

not too bad. although they give bikes to some pcso's dont they? that would be embarassing! lol

i'll have a think before i apply as that web page states i can only apply for one at once

Depends also on what areas you work. Some areas in the same county can earn you 1 or 2 k a year more (basicly get paid extra for working in dump).

Yearly rises are okay and the pension scheme is good.

After 2 or 3 years go for your sergeants and get a few k more also.

Talk to someone who has been in the force before deciding.

I wouldnt be able to there job for five minutes.

cheers for the PM steve. The worry about applying for the police is i will fail the interview but after having about 100 of those now i think im getting slightly better :)
