Some areas in the same county can earn you 1 or 2 k a year more (basicly get paid extra for working in dump). Yearly rises are okay and the pension scheme is good. After 2 or 3 years go for your sergeants and get a few k more also. Talk to someone who has been in the force before deciding. I wouldnt be able to there job for five minutes.
