Warped Discs (UK - spec)

Looks like I have warped my front discs but,

1, How can you avoid doing this for my next pair ?

2, Are stock still best ? (Cheap'ish to replace)

3, How can you tell if the rears are warped too ?

4, Do you need to change pads at the same time ?

(Mine are in good nick)

I had to test that my TRL SLD worked back in April while I had the car for testing and did have a high speed braking session after confirming tha tthe SLD was working fine but, only until ~70 then let them cool down but, too late. (when I got home they were a little blue)

The discs are old so, need changing.

Thanks for any info.

Easiest way to warp discs is to sit at the traffic lights/roundabouts with your foot on the brakes, instead of the handbrake.
