Chris Wilson Posted July 4, 2004 Share Posted July 4, 2004 Nuts and bolts SHOULD be close tolerance items with a good surface finish, if they are rusty on the threads they need binning, an acid etch will turn an already iffy bolt into one with an even lower yield strength.
